Finished!

My masterpiece is complete!
The front, with the beautiful buttons that I got from M&J

I think the back might be my favorite part :)
cute short sleeves for spring!
I'm pretty stoked because this is the first sweater that I have ever designed and the first sweater that I have finished using such a small needle (size 7). It fits me really well too. Once I put the collar on the neckline didn't roll at all which I was happy about. Now I'm going to finish the hat that I was working on the for the TKGA master knitting program since my mom just sent me the double pointed needles that I needed.

Also today I got back some pictures from a couple photo shoots that I did recently and they look so pretty!
Another gorgeous shot by Brian Shumway

The photography and makeup for these shots was done by ShatRDGlass Photography
I'm wearing the veil made of crocheted wire that I created for my senior thesis. The colors of the swarovski crystals go with the make up perfectly!

It's all about the hair, lol.

This one is my favorite :)
I should be doing a couple more shoots next week and I'm going to try to get a few shots of me in the sweater that I made. Also I 'm going to work on getting signed with an agency, there are too many pervs and scam artist on model mayhem. There are a few really good people like the photographers I mentioned that I worked with but it's hard to sift through all the creeps to get to the good ones. Anyway, that's all for today. Later!

  1. Wow!!
    So much to comment on.
So let me first start with the sweater. Absolutetly gorgeous - I love the stitch pattern, You should put it up on Ravelry, I know others would want the pattern.
You used a size 7 needle, but what yarn did you use?

  2. OK. Now let's talk about the pics from the photo shoot!
They look high quality - I like them so much better than the first.
These pics really show off your beauty and the artistic affect is startling.
I would definitely add these to your portfolio as you are looking for a agent.
My favorites are the third and fourth from the start. Your eyes are huge!!
    Good luck!!

  3. As I mentioned the yarn is a wool alpaca blend by Nashua Hand Knits. And thank you so much for your comments on my photo shoot :)
